So What do Iggy Azalea, Lil Jon, Christina Aguilera, Buju Banton and Diana King have in common? well, the answer is simple… MASHUPS!

Benn-i Productions did four brand new mashups / remixes this week with some really cool songs. Fancy from Iggy Azalea and a remix on the famous song Turn down for What.

1. Iggy Azalea – Fancy on the Champion Riddim.

The song Fancy is from Iggy her debut album “The new Classic”. The Riddim is called the Champion Riddim and is produced by Donovan Germain on the penthouse label in 1994/1995.

2. Christina Aguilera ft. Nicki Minaj – WooHoo on a riddim called Love is All.

The song WooHoo is from the album “Bionic” in 2010 by Christina Aguilera. The Love is all riddim is produced by Tuff Lion. The riddim is a sweet reggae riddim. Check it out on SoundCloud:

3. Diana King – Shy Guy on the Penthouse Riddim.

The song Shy Guy from Diana King is a hit from the 90’s. I always liked the songs of Diana Kings, so decided to mash this one up with the Penthouse Riddim. The Penthouse riddim was made by The Jugglerz and JR Blender. And is also an ode to the 90’s and the culture and the scene around reggae and dancehall. Thats why you hear a lot of reggae songs with lyrics containing texts like “those were the days”. The penthouse riddim also features a great line up of artists from Randy Valentine to Beenie Man, Collie Buddz and many more. One of my favorites lately, JR Blender and Randy Valentine. So what do you get when you combine two 90’s favorites; Shy Guy on the Penthouse Riddim. You get this mashup:

4. Lil Jon feat. Buju Banton – Tun Down for What a piece of Body

The song Turn down For What is one of the most popular songs out there at the moment. Thats why i wanted to give it a little reggae/ragga twist. So i tried to mix Buju Banton with Champion (again great tune, and hit) on the song by Lil Jon: Turn Down for What. Thats why the Mashup is called “Tun Down for What a Piece of Body”. Some reggae/ragga effects in there as well;

Next to the Mashups, im still working on some new riddims, productions and other stuff. The latest riddim is the Gimme Life Riddim. Its a bit of a mix between a r&b and reggae swing, all though thats what i tried to accomplish. On this instrumental i also worked together again with John Life and Indrani from Barbados. So next to the brand new album we released this month, we allready made another tune.

Listen to the song here, the riddim/instrumental beat is still available as a Lease Beat. Contact me, if you want to know more or browse to my music store.

5. J.Life feat. Indrani – Everything will be Ok

This month i also did a fantastic collaboration with Lion Tunda from Canada. Like i mentioned in my previous post. As a result we have another album in iTunes, Deezer, Spotify and much more. Ready to rock it.

Lion spent some great time on promoting his songs as much as possible. And we did some good promo on Social Media as well. You can listen to the complete mix here, the mix was done by Benn-i.

6. Lion Tunda – The Lion Tunda Clash

So if you are an artist and you need instrumental music for your next musical project, dont hesitate to contact me. I love making music, and if you love singing we can probably work together.. 😉

All graphics you see in the album covers are also mashed up.. 🙂 And layered by Benn-i. The music is uploaded under Common Creative License.

Talk to you soon.

Big up, Benn-i
